Even though it is a holiday, 21 lives were lost on the roads across the country on Friday (February 28). Eight people died in Sylhet. Sylhet: A collision took place between Rashid Pari and Dhaka Express on the Dhaka-Sylhet highway at Rashidpur. The accident took place at Rashidpur of Dakshin Surma Police Station at around 6 am on Friday (February 28). Two died at the hospital. Another 18 people were seriously injured in the incident. A total of eight people have been killed in a road accident in Bogra. The accident took place. Meanwhile, two people including an easybike driver were killed when a truck hit them in Dupchanchia upazila of Bogra. The accident took place at Tishigari area of Bogra-Naogaon road on Friday afternoon. Mymensingh: Two motorcyclists named Shahidul Islam Kaiser Rony (30) and Ojahid Hasan Russell (26) were killed in a truck accident at Dhobaura in Mymensingh. The accident took place in Domghata area of Mekiarkanda Bazar on Dhobaura-Haluaghat road around 10:30 am on Friday (February 26). Two. The accident took place in front of Khaskarra Land Office of Alamdanga Upazila around 9:30 am on Friday (February 26). Shayestaganj (Habiganj): The accident took place at 10:30 am on the Habiganj-Shayestaganj road at Jagatpur on Friday (February 28). Jhenaidah: A 40-year-old man was killed in a collision between three motorcycles at Kaliganj in Jhenaidah. Four others were injured. The accident took place at Patbila on the Kaliganj-Kotchandpur road at around 4pm on Friday. Police have arrested the driver and helper of the truck in the incident. The accident took place on Barisal-Patuakhali highway around 10 am on Friday.
